Artist Spotlight: REVOK
L.A.'s Most Wanted

This weeks post will introduce you to an artist based out of Los Angeles and also known as one of the best graffiti artists in the world, that one person goes by the name REVOK. Twenty years in the game, Revok has helped changed the game of graffiti with his evolutionary style. He has also captured headlines around LA from his works around the city that eventually made him LA's most wanted vandal according to the feds which eventually landed him in jail with a bail set at a record high for vandalism at $320.000. His name was so big in the graffiti world that it created a movement called "Free Revok", where artist around the state would write and paint his name. Though he hasn't painted an illegal mural or created any art crimes in LA for years since, there is no telling how big of an inspiration this man is to many graffiti artists around the word as he is the king of style when it comes to graffiti, and his work shows it.

Artist Spotlight: TRIGZ
TRIGZ TRIBUTE MURAL
I wanted to take the time to pay tribute to one of LA's graffiti icon, Michael Pebly, also known as "TRIGZ", who was fatally shot on October 9, 2014. TRIGZ was widely known as a graffiti veteran and legend in the scenes of LA since the mid-1980s to 90s, who's extreme dedication to graffiti has landed him in and out of prison. He was also a famed tattoo artist in North Hollywood to many celebrities. What made him inspirational was his commitment and dedication to his craft and will keep pursuing what he loves and ignoring anyone trying to talk him down. Nothing but respect for this man, legends live forever Rest In Peace.
